Wings of Grace
is a partnership between GCC and PGM Seminary in Tanzania.

GCC supports PGM seminarians with financial resources and prayer.

PGM supports GCC with prayer, a global vision, and their summer hospitality.

To get connected, contact Sora at sora@gccnj.org.

Wings got its name from Isaiah 40:30-31.

Even youths grow tired and weary but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength...They will soar on wings like eagles.

Wings is a partnership between the churches of Tanzania and the U.S.
Wings believes that the Church can be globally connected in order to serve God's kingdom together.  The American church and the Tanzanian church are gifted in different ways.  Wings is one way to help the two churches share their blessings with one another in order to further God's kingdom in Tanzania and the U.S.

How is this different from World Vision/Compassion Child?
(Although we respect the above NPOs, we do some things differently.)
  • Wings is not a charity organization.  Wings is a partnership
    • We carry the seminarians.
      • The seminarians in Tanzania suffer from poverty, lack of education, and poor health care.  We support them financially.
    • The seminarians carry us.
      • Many Christians in the U.S. suffer from spiritual poverty.  They support us with their prayers, a global vision, and their spiritual teachings during our summer visits.
  • Wings supports pastors, preachers, and teachers.
    • These leaders will transform the hearts of countless children, women, and men of Tanzania.  By supporting them, we are touching the lives of people all over Tanzania.
  • We know them.
    • Wings is part of GCC missions, which means that we visit the seminarians every year.  Practically speaking, the money just moves more directly and personally because we know and meet our friends every summer.
How does it work?
You have the option of donating $15, $25, or $35 a month to PGM (Professionals for Global Missions).

Since Missionary Choi is aware of the seminarians' individual needs, he is responsible for allocating the donations to the neediest seminarians per month.  Missionary Choi will give us a quarterly report of how your money was used.

Everything
will go directly to the seminarians.

For your ease (and mine ;-) ), we prefer that you use the automated bank service that GCC offers to you.  Then, you don't have to stamp, seal, or sign anything.

Some figures

$50 to provide for a seminarian's family per month
$50 to cover tuition per semester
$6 to buy a goat
